¡Hola!

Most important is HTA. A lot can be found on internet. Be in the middle and be creative, half day, immediate start.

English: you are expected to perform around ICAO level 5. Computer exam, check carefully what has to be done, read the question loudly or describe the situation and check always the time remaining /enough/ You should describe what is situational awareness for instance / 2 questions/
.

Interview: show discipline, motivated. I was asked about THY and the unions

Second Pilot
First day is the Psychometric Test (HTA) + document check with copies + English test
group exercises than psychometric quiz and individual debriefing.
Questions asked : assess your performance during the test and select one pilot in the group to fly with for 10 hours and the one that you will not take if you have to remove only pilot from the list. Use the debriefing to understand to assets and weakness. ask as many questions as you can. THERE IS A VIDEO CAMERA DURING ALL THE ASSESSMENT. do not sleep.
I think it is important to take part of every discussion and exercises and give your point of view.
This part is very important, they want to see you as a good team player. CRM is very important.

English test : after the documents check.

Very difficult. computed based English proficiency test. About 8 steps in the test.

There is no time to review your answers.

read or listen carefully instructions (red light). You start to talk and your answer is recorded (green light + time), You can talk until the end of the timing.

introduce yourself: name, surname position, experience and other general questions.
read some information: ICAO alphabet, numbers, METAR messages
describe pictures, explain how this happen, aviation related: decompression in the cabin due to explosion, fire in the aircraft cabin, B747 run out of the runway.
read a short text or statement with some questions and explain your position or give some comments about pilot salary, working conditions, pilot life style, etc. bear in mind to make your conclusion before the time (15 sec).
ATC exercise: listen to an ATC clearance and read back off the pilot. Your answer is to make the correct read back again and highlight the mistake from pilot on the tape.
Emergency situation: you have to read a scenario, explain what will be your decision and do the initial ATC message, MAYDAY, PANPAN or emergency descent.

Third day Interview: chief pilot, HR manager and flight operation manager. 10 to 15 minutes
They have all your documents and know the results of the previous assessment.
They ask you to testify the truth about your documents and declaration about experience etc.
If they want to offer a job, they will introduce some key points about the airline: working conditions, actual needs, expectation.
Few questions about your own experience, why do you want to work in Turkey and not in your own country.
if you want explain clearly why you want to join THY and ask the questions that you want if you have some.
Chief pilot seems to be a good man. They need nice pilot (CRM is important) to fly their planes and they want to treat the pilot properly but flying more 900 hours a year . Expat and turkish will be on the same conditions.

Third Pilot
HTA
So from HTA, first, we introduced ourselves, starting with how is CRM important .
We had some exercises , wrote about your own mistake you did in aviation, we swap the papers and everybody had to discuss from his paper he got, his opinion what was wrong. Second task was to write 5 sentences which characterised yourself: 4 true and 1 which is not true and had to guess which one is not true of the other candidates.
Other one interesting, to close your eyes and cover them, we had to stand up, we got a rope(ribbon) and with covered eyes we had to position ourselves to make S patern. It is important how we do it so you need to discuss with other candidates to position yourself to make S.
And last psychometric test , one with about 20 questions, for example: first question 1. I always like to work in team and 1A I like to work sometimes alone. With rating from 3 to 0. 0 represent here like between( but I think it is better to rate it higher). And another with 24 questions, with most match and least match for example brave, worried etc you have to tick most and least.
This took from our time cca 4 hours.

Hola. Gracias por la información.
He encontrado ésto por pprune:

«Weeks of interviews, and nobody’s reporting back!
Is it as bad as I hear?
Instructor’s thrown in a 737 sim with no briefing apart from the emergency exit!
Forget to tell you, you will soon be based on a disused airfield in the middle of Turkey and expats will stay on singles as twins are for locals.
Verbal promises of a first officer position after some time!! Only if you’ve been a good boy, if they need FO’s, and you pass selections (again) but nothing on papers!
Local’s English skill is appalling for most, but they keep on failing English natives at their «test». Serious!
Interview process to flatter their ego! «We ‘re so good, cause so many fail!»
Salary seems unbeliveable, «if it look too good to be true, it generally is!»
On the other hand, peoples are nice and welcoming, eager to see new blood coming!
Potential is there, will they let it flourish?

Anybody hear anything else? «

Gracias
