Hola a todos. No tengo la suerte de volar un MD80 (bueno, sólo en simulador) e intento conocer lo mejor posible a este pájaro del que estoy enamorado. El caso es que tengo una duda sobre el TOWS. Se que tiene cuatro warnings cíclicos, fulap, slat, brake, stabilizer (me estoy refiriendo al test previo a la puesta en marcha), pero algunas veces tengo (insisto, en el simulador) un quinto warning, algo así como «whether» o «weather» o «wheler»… tengo el FCOM de un MD82 de Continental (Sec. 6 Pages 76, 77, 78, 79 y 80 Aural/Vocal Warning and Caution Systems) y no consigo encontrar una respuesta, ¿alguien sabría decirme qué es?

Se que hay una sección dedicada a los simuladores, pero creo que en este caso me podreis ayudar mejor los pilotos que habeis volado o que voleis esta maravilla.

Takeoff Warning System
The takeoff warning system provides an aural alert if certain parameters are
not properly set for takeoff. The system requires normal electrical power.
When the airplane is on the ground, any one of the following conditions will
cause the aural warning system to sound: Either throttle is (or, on airplanes
with Service Bulletin 31-34 incorporated or production equivalent, both
throttles are) advanced for takeoff and the FLAP/SLAT handle (after being
positioned to the takeoff flap setting) is not in agreement with the value set in
the FLAP window of the TAKEOFF CONDTN computer, or the horizontal stabilizer
is not set within the green-band area of the LONG TRIM indicator, or the slats
are not extended, or the spoiler handle is not in the retract detent, flaps
extended beyond 260, or the parking brake is set.
Some additional parameters (on some aircraft) that will activate the takeoff
warning are: Autospoilers armed with ABS not armed, ABS armed with
Autospoilers not armed.

Que yo sepa, son 5 los avisos, y no veo ninguno extraño en tu chequeo. Son: spoilers, flaps (fulaps), slats, stabilizer, brakes. Y vuelta a repetir.
