The open day consists of three days.
Day 1: Presentation of Emirates Airlnes and Dubai. Basically the put on a few videos for you to know where you’re going, whats expected from you, they explain the Muslim culture and habbits. questions about the company, veryy especifics!!! is good to know everithing!!! That takes nearly 3 hours. Then one by one they ask you for you’re CV and ask you only 2 questions. For example they first asked me «tell me about you» and «are you currently working?» and thats it, not even 5 min. Then they’ll call you before 18.00 to tell you if your selected for the next day and.
Day 2: They test your height by putting a poster on the wall and you have to reach to the top, you could stand on your tippy toes. I don’t know how tall you are, but I don’t think thats a problem, because there were people that were less then 1’63 and they passed the hight test. Then right after that, the ask you a few more questions. They asked me what I did yesterday, what city did I come from, and if I was in Barcelona on my own. Basically its to see your fluency while speaking in English. Then we did the first «dinamica de grupo» which consisted of asking the person that is seated on your right where they would go and what would they do if they could by 24hours in any place in the world and why, and you have to tell the person on your left what you would do. After you have to stand up and present your college and talk about what they told you. All of this is in a group of 12 people aprox. The second «dinamica» (no se como se dice en ingles, jeje) we were 2 groups of 12 pax and one group had to day what 2 olimpic sports they would take off the olimpics, and my group had to say what 2 sports we would add to the olimpics. We had 10 mins to talk about that and then the interviews choose 2 people out of each group to expouse what we had agreed. Tips I give you: Don’t try to call the attention in any moment, listen to the people around you, and make your opinion be noticed and heard, try to talk with everyone generally, its not good to talk to the same person the whole time. Don’t talk in Spanish at all, because many people try talking to you in Spanish because they feel akward speaking in English, but belive me, even though you think you’re not being watched, they see EVERYTHING.
If you pass that, then you do the writen English test. It consists on refilling the blank spaces, putting synonimos, and then you have to write your assey, by filling two whole A4 size pages with 3 things that you think you should change from your personality and why and how you can improve.
this is all ai know and i expect that everybody that have same experience like this to share, i am tired of selfish people!
MUCHAS GRACIAS alaya23!!esto ayuda muchisimo!!many thanks jijii
HOla buenas,
Gracias,
Saludos!
