DEAR ALL,
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFOREHAND
What about my training?
All of the training is done in conjunction with either Leeds or Newcastle Aviation Academy. Therefore if your chosen bases are Leeds, East Midlands and Belfast, you will have the duration of your 5 week training course in Leeds. Should you be successful to gain a place for either Manchester-Blackpool, Newcastle or our Edinburgh-Glasgow (Dual) bases, your training will be based at Newcastle.
During the intensive 5 week training course, all successful candidates will be provided with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure that they are equiped to deal efficiently with different types of emergency and survival situations including theoretical and practical instruction.
Each delegate must successfully complete this training prior to becoming operational Cabin Crew. During the course you will undergo checks and examinations covering both safety and cabin service training received in order to verify proficiency in carrying out all on board duties.
You will be responsible for arranging your own accommodation during this course and you will not be paid for the duration of the course until you have successfully graduated.
The cost of the course is £600* and in return we offer you superb training, a Summer Contract (March – October) and fantastic benefits including a great Staff Travel Scheme.
*The £600 course fee will be made payable to The Aviation Academy. We would advise you to make payment as soon as you receive your offer as places on our course are limited and work on a first come first serve basis.
Once you have successfully completed your course, it’s time to celebrate with your class mates and families as you graduate and receive your Wings! A night to remember for all!
Kindest
